Nova Network – Community Guidelines

Last updated: 21 Oct 2025

Welcome to Nova Network – we're glad you're here. We want to build a global community led network for those in the legal profession and whilst we're all adults, we want to be clear on what we expect from our members.

These Community Guidelines outline the standards of conduct expected from all members to maintain a safe, inclusive, and professional environment for everyone in our global legal community.

1. Be Respectful and Professional

Treat all members with courtesy and respect. Constructive debate is encouraged, but personal attacks, harassment, discriminatory remarks, or unprofessional behaviour will not be tolerated.

2. Maintain Confidentiality

Discussions within private or off-the-record circles are confidential. Do not share or quote content outside the Network without consent from all parties involved.

3. No Legal Advice or Client Relationships

Nova Network is a community, not a legal services platform. Do not post or rely on content as legal advice, and do not create client relationships through the platform.

4. Share Knowledge Responsibly

Feel free to share insights, experiences, and ideas, but ensure any shared content is accurate, respectful, and does not infringe on confidentiality or intellectual property rights.

5. No Spam or Unauthorised Promotion

Avoid unsolicited promotion of services, products, or recruitment. Use designated areas or obtain approval from the Nova team for any promotional or partnership posts.

6. Use AI Responsibly

If you use AI-generated content in discussions, clearly indicate it. Do not share misleading, confidential, or biased AI-generated outputs.

7. Report Concerns

If you encounter behaviour that breaches these Guidelines, report it to the Nova Network team via network@nova-law.com. Reports are reviewed confidentially.

8. Enforcement

Breaches of these Guidelines may result in content removal, warnings, suspension, or permanent removal from the Network. Serious violations may also lead to referral to relevant professional bodies.

9. Updates

These Guidelines may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to members through the Network or email.

Thank you for helping to make Nova Network a collaborative and trusted space for the legal community.
